About the Symposium

Smart City Conference series, sponsored by the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan (IEEJ), is organized by Japanese researchers in collaboration with researchers across Asia. Previous editions were held at IISc Bangalore, University Putra Malaysia, IIT Madras, online (2023), and in hybrid format at IIT Guwahati (2025). The Smart City Workshop 2026 will be held in hybrid mode at IIIT Bangalore, India, featuring expert talks, technical presentations, and student short presentations.

Important Dates

Type 1 Speakers submit Extended Abstract (2 pages) by February 15, 2026 .

Type 2 Speakers who need archival of their articles, register and upload manuscript (4 to 6 pages) on IEEJ Digital Library by January 12, 2026 and February 9, 2026, respectively.
