Prof. Devendra Jalihal
Director of IIT Guwahati, India
Prof. Devendra Jalihal is the Director of Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. He received his B.Tech. (Hons) from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 1983 and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Duke University in 1992. He joined Indian Institute of Technology Madras in 1994, where he later served as Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering (2016-2019) and chaired the Centre for Outreach and Digital Education. His research interests include digital signal processing, wireless communication, real-time voice and video systems, and societal applications of communication technologies. He has contributed to several impactful projects such as low bit-rate video conferencing, disaster management communication systems, tactical communication networks, and satellite communication systems, and has collaborated with Defence Research and Development Organisation on strategic communication initiatives.

Prof. Jyotsna Bapat
Professor, International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore (IIITB)
Prof Jyotsna Bapat is a Professor at the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore (IIITB) with extensive academia and industry experience in wireless communication and next-generation communication systems. She received her PhD in electrical engineering from Pennsylvania State University, University Park. Before joining IIITB in 2006, she worked as an Assistant Professor with Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck, NJ, USA, and also with Lucent Technologies, Holmdel, NJ, USA. Her research expertise spans 5G and emerging 6G technologies with strong focus areas including Internet of Things (IoT), network slicing, scheduling, QoS/QoE optimization, network security and cross-layer design. She has guided numerous postgraduate and doctoral graduates and has been actively involved in national, international and industry-related research collaborations in advanced telecommunications. Prof. Bapat has authored and co-authored 100+ peer-reviewed journal and conference publications in reputed venues and has contributed significantly to intellectual property creation, with 3 granted patents and 3 additional patents under filing in the areas of wireless communication, network slicing and security. Her research integrates rigorous theoretical modelling with practical experimental validation, enabling strong translational outcomes and real-world impact.

Executive Director, Society for Electronic Transactions and Security (SETS)
Dr. N. Subramanian is serving as Executive Director, Society for Electronic Transactions and Security (SETS). SETS is an initiative of the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA) to the Government of India, focussing in Cybersecurity Research covering cryptology, hardware security, quantum security and network security. Prior to this he served as Head R&D at C-DAC and coordinated various R&D activities across C-DAC and he has lead R&D projects in cyber security as part of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) funded initiatives. He is contributing as member of Project Review & Steering Group of R&D projects, member of doctoral committee and Cybersecurity challenges & Competitions. He is contributing to standardisation activities as part of Standard Development Organizations like BIS and TSDSI and is involved in guiding PhDs and Masters students.

Shigeki TAKEDA received his B.E., M.E. and D.E. degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from Tottori University, Tottori, Japan His research interests include mobile antennas, IoTs, RFIDs, antenna array, millimeter wave radars, and antenna systems. He is currently a professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic System Engineering.
